 I met Christian Lehmann during my time as CEO of Vodafone Germany. In 2014, Mr. Lehmann, among other projects at Vodafone GmbH, initiated and managed the voluntary redundancy program for the restructuring and reorganization of Vodafone GmbH in Germany. Such a measure was unprecedented for Vodafone GmbH in Germany from a business perspective and was extremely demanding and sensitive. Mr. Lehmann successfully implemented the HR project with determination, from the start of planning to completion, in just 10 weeks, demonstrating the necessary empathy towards the employees.

 During my time as CHRO at Vodafone GmbH, Christian Lehmann, as Head of HR IT, was responsible for the migration project of Kabel Deutschland GmbH's SAP payroll system, in addition to his operational duties. The error rate for the first payroll run for the 4,500 employees was zero%. The result speaks for itself! Also worth mentioning is Vodafone GmbH's voluntary severance program. This was a very short-term and highly emotional, challenging measure. It was implemented pragmatically and consistently, with great empathy for the employees. These two projects are characteristic of Christian and his work as an HR project manager. His projects are always well-structured and have a clear definition of roles and responsibilities.
