I met Christian Lehmann during my time as CEO of Vodafone Germany. Among other projects, Mr. Lehmann set up and managed the voluntary restructuring and reorganization program for Vodafone GmbH in Germany in 2014. From a business perspective, such a measure was new for Vodafone GmbH in Germany and extremely demanding and sensitive. Mr. Lehmann successfully implemented the HR project, from the start of planning to completion, in just 10 weeks, with the necessary empathy for the employees.

During my time as CHRO at Vodafone GmbH, Christian Lehmann, as head of the HR IT department, was responsible for the migration project for Kabel Deutschland GmbH's SAP payroll system, in addition to his operational responsibilities. The error rate for the first payroll run for the 4,500 employees was zero percent. The results speak for themselves! Vodafone GmbH's volunteer program is also worth mentioning here. This was a very short-term, highly emotional, and difficult measure. It was implemented pragmatically and consistently, with great empathy for the employees. These two projects are indicative of Christian and his work as an HR project manager. His projects are always well-structured and have clearly defined roles and responsibilities. His team is motivated. Regular reporting is transparent and effective. Decisions are well prepared and subsequently implemented consistently, cooperatively, and successfully.
